- Links you create: the original video URL, detected platform, generated short code, and optional title/thumbnail.
- Usage data: view counts, referrer, approximate device/browser info, and timestamps used to detect fraud and calculate earnings.
- Payout details: if you choose to receive payouts, your PayPal email address.
3. How we use information
- To operate the service, generate short links, and count views.
- To calculate, reconcile, and send creator earnings.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and bot traffic.
- To communicate important account or payout updates.
4. Advertising
The Watch page displays advertising served by third-party ad networks (e.g. Adsterra). These providers may set cookies or use similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. Ad revenue funds the creator payouts on Vid.Social.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers that host our infrastructure or process payouts.
- Ad networks, limited to what's needed to serve ads on the Watch page.

6. Video content
Vid.Social does not host or re-upload videos. We embed videos from their original platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). Your interactions inside those embeds are governed by the respective platform's privacy policy.

We use minimal cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to deduplicate views (anti-fraud). Ad providers may set additional cookies on the Watch page.
8. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active and link/view data for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

10. Children
